Mr. Sheikh Ashfakur Rahman
Senior District & Sessions Judge
Mr. Sk. Ashfaqur Rahman assumed the role of Senior District and Sessions Judge in this district on November 6, 2024. A distinguished member of the 18th BCS (Judicial) cadre, he holds a Service ID number of 19981118010.
Mr. Rahman earned his LL.B. (Honours) and LL.M. degrees from the University of Rajshahi, reflecting his strong academic foundation. Hailing from Satkhira, he brings extensive experience to his current position. Prior to this appointment, he served as the Director (Training) at the Judicial Administration Training Institute, where he contributed significantly to the development of judicial expertise.
Throughout his career, Mr. Rahman has participated in numerous training programs and workshops, both domestically and internationally. His professional engagements have taken him to India, the Maldives, Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, and the United States, enriching his perspective and expertise in judicial practices.
